S Roy (TMC): This bill is a violation of Article 14 of the Constitution. The bill is divisive and unconstitutional. This law is against everything that our founding fathers envisioned.

#CitizenshipAmendmentBill2019 is an insult to Muslims & against our constitution. This bill is tabled in Parliament by the government only to treat Muslims as 2nd class citizens & to polarize the environment. Every Indian should oppose this bill!#VoteAgainstCAB

CAB is designed to exclude Muslims.
You hate us, our religion, our identity, our people and still have an audacity to call yourself secular and tolerant. No, you're not.
Stop asking Muslims why don't they vote for BJP. #CitizenshipAmendmentBill2019
