JERUSALEM (AA) — Israeli army forces rounded up 12 Palestinians from their homes in overnight raids carried out across the occupied West Bank, according to an Israeli military statement released on Thursday.

The Palestinians were detained for what the army described as “suspected involvement in popular terrorist activities”, the statement claimed without elaborating on the nature of said “activities”.

The detained Palestinians have since been remanded into custody for further investigation, according to the same statement.
